recorder.com: It didn’t take long for students moving into Baker Hall on the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus last weekend to notice that a specific floor that caters to LGBTQ people had lost its gender-inclusive multistall bathroom. After serving as an all-gender bathroom last school year, university officials removed the “All Gender” sign over the summer and converted it back to a women’s bathroom to bring the university into compliance with the state’s plumbing code.

UCLA Newsroom: UCLA has been named the nation’s top public university in the 2017–18 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, published today. The report also ranked UCLA No.11 among all American universities—public or private—and No. 15 worldwide. The publication ranked 1,102 of the world’s leading research universities, drawing on 195 data points.

carleton.edu: On Tuesday, Sept. 5, Carleton College welcomes the Class of 2021 to campus; the 526 students were selected from a pool of 6,502 applicants. The incoming students represent 46 states and 21 countries (eleven percent are international residents), with 81 students coming from Minnesota, followed by California (61), Illinois (41), Massachusetts (30), Texas (27), and New York (26). Twenty-six students hail from China.
